Persian International Martial Arts Federation (PIMAF) is proud to announce the completion of World Kickboxing and Muay Thai Boxing Championships.
This event was held in the first week of December. Shirudi stadium in Tehran was the host of this glorious event and it was where some of the greatest champions of the world gathered to test their mights.
Among the guests of honours were Mr Noohi, Chairman of Iranian Martial Arts Federation, Mr Ahmadi, general secretary to the Iranian Martial Arts Federation, Mr Walid Kassas, Deputy Chairman of World Kickboxing Federation, Mr Jean Pascal Kinda, Head of Burkina Faso’s National Olympic Committee, Mr Khalil Ahmed Khan, head of Asian JuJitsu Belt Wrestling Federation, Mr Masato Kitade, Member of Japan’s National Olympic Committee, Mr Rahim Mosadegh, Senior Founder of PIMAF and many other officials.

Iran’s Kyokushin karate team stood first in the international kyokushinkai karate competitions in Japan on Sunday.
Four Iranian Kyokushin karatekas including Hossein Parvari, Sajjad Heidari, Saeed Safari and Rouya Broumand participated in the contests.
The competitions were held in Tokyo from November 29-30.
Kyokushinkai is a style of stand-up, full contact karate, founded in 1964 by Masutatsu Oyama.
Kyokushinkai is Japanese word for “the society of the ultimate truth.” It is rooted in a philosophy of self-improvement, discipline and hard training.

Iran’s Women Karate National team will leave for India Wednesday evening to attend international competitions in India.
The matches will be hosted by India’s Hyderabad’s city on coming Saturday and Sunday while 26 countries including Iran will participate in the competitions.
The Deputy Head of Iran’s Karate Federation for Women Eshrat Shah Mohammadi said 12 Iranian Karate players headed by Tehran’s Karate delegation will walk on tatami mat to compete with opponents.
She also said dispatching the team to India mainly aims at receiving more experience and recognizing strong and weak points of the team members.
She expressed hope the team could receive satisfactory results.

Establishment of first Kickboxing Professional Academy in Iran is underway by Master Amir Mosadegh with cooperation of Master S. H. Hejazi. It is going to be the most advanced and professional academy in Iran.
The academy will be located in Abdo Bowling Club in Shariati Street, Tehran, Iran. The opening will be within a month and will be anounced through this website.

LONDON, September 28 (IranMania) - Iranian Karate players snatched 7 gold, one silver and 5 bronze medals in the International Karate Championships in South Korea, IRNA reported.
Iranian athletes including Farshid Karimi, Sina Karami, Milad Yari, Zabiollah Pourshib, Mahdi Soltani and Shima Shah-Zamani won the gold medals in the kumite contests.
Masoud Daneshjou bagged the silver, while Nasrin Baqeri, Niloufar Safie, Omid Ali- Madadi and Elyas Horiaband snatched the bronze medals in the kumite category.
Shima Zamani and Mashoud Daneshjou snatched the gold and silver medals respectively in the kata championship.

TEHRAN (IRNA) — Iranian athlete, Mahshid Jalilifar, in (60-kg category) snatched the gold medal in Kazakhstan International Karate Championships on Monday.
Jalili-Far defeated her Tajik rival in the second round and reached the final stage.
In the final stage, she beat her Russian rival and won the gold medal.
Sahar Karaj, in 48-kg category, and Pegah Chalaki, in 53-kg category, won the gold and bronze medals respectively.
The teams form Islamic Republic, Tajikistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Russia competed in the championship which wrapped up on Monday.

Master Amir Mosadegh has been elected as Iran’s national Kickboxing team coach. Mohammad Noohi, Chairman of Iranian Martial Arts Federation announced this on 5th of September.

Iran has managed to snatch the title at the 9th Asian Karate Federation (AKF) Junior and Cadets Karate Championships held in Malaysia.
The Iranian Karate team won the title with three gold and three bronze medals on Friday.
Mohammad Qasemi won a gold medal for his country in the under 55kg category after defeating his Malaysian rival.
Iran’s Majid Shokouhi won the second gold when he beat his opponent from China in the final.
The third gold medal was earned by Saman Heidari in the plus 75 kg class as he came victorious over his Chinese contender.
Morteza Shafahi (-65 kg), Bahman Asgari (-70kg) and Armin Khamechi (-75kg) made do with the bronze medals.
Karate fighters from 29 Asian countries took part in the event in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia from 24 - 30 August.

TEHRAN, Aug. 24 (MNA)–Zahra Karimi of Iran snatched the gold medal in the Beijing 2008 Wushu Tournament on Sunday.
She defeated her Vietnamese rival in the final game and won the gold medal.

Hossein Ojaghi took silver while Farzaneh Dehghan earned bronze.
The Beijing 2008 wushu has gathered 128 athletes from 43 countries. The event kicked off at the Beijing Olympic Sports Center on Thursday where some Olympic handball matches had been held.
It was the first time that a non-Olympic tournament was launched in a city which is hosting the Olympic Games.

TEHRAN, Aug. 22 (MNA)–Ehsan Peighambari, Iran’s talou artist, claimed the bronze medal on Friday in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Peighambari scored 9.59 points, behind Chinese and Russian artists, scoring 9.83 and 9.63 points respectively.
Another Iranian wushu artist Zahra Karimi has qualified for semifinal stage. She has secured at least a bronze medal in the event.
Farzaneh Dehghan and Hossein Ojaghi, other Iranian representatives, are highly likely to get medals in the tournament.
Olympics chief Jacques Rogge and martial arts star Jet Lee attended the exhibition matches.
