Mohsen Mansoori kicks his way to Golden Belt

Mohsen Mansoori kicks his way to Golden Belt at 2010 Asian Kickboxing Championship in Thailand. Mohsen fought his way up in the IKF Asian qualifiers, eliminating his opponent by a knock out on second round of the game. He won the $5000 grand prize and gained the pass to fight against another Thai opponent, at Fairtex stadium in Thailand.

The Iranian fighter withstood heavy attacks from Nongoh Citmato, his well-known Thai opponent and despite the clear disadvantage from the crowd and environment, managed to win the match.

Once the referee blew in his whistle, both fighters started the match and in the first round, the audience witnessed some fascinating kicks as both fighters were analyzing and examining each other’s opponents.

Coaches from both sides were watching the match closely and repeatedly reminded the fighters of proper techniques for them to apply.

IMG 5838 440x250 Mohsen Mansoori kicks his way to Golden BeltIn this match, which was the first IKF Golden Belt Championship to be held in Thailand, many tourists from various countries were present and excitedly applauded the fighters.

At the end, it was the Iranian fighter, Mohsen Mansouri who managed to win the match by continuously and rigorously attacking the Thai fighter. On round 5, both fighters showed an extremely exciting performance and provoked the crowd to cheer loudly and created an overwhelming atmosphere in the stadium.

Mohsen Mansouri who is known as Eric, managed to win the match with a close score and won the championship and brought joy to the audience and to his coach.

Bukan Kickboxing & Point Kickboxing Results

amir mosadegh family 300x199 Bukan Kickboxing & Point Kickboxing ResultsShihan Amir Mosadegh, President of PIMAF and IKF Asia representative held the Bukan Kickboxing and Point Kickboxing (PKB).

This exciting event that coincides with the Iranian New Year, was held from 24th to 27th February 2009, in the city of Bukan in East Azarbaijan province in north west of Iran. More than 400 fighters attended this event and competed against each other in the aforementioned styles. Contestants were from 4 age groups, in 32 teams from all over Iran and in 40 different weight groups.

The program started in the early morning of 24th of February by introductions of the teams by marching in front of the IKF flag, each holding a sign with their names written on it.

During the speech, he asked all fighters to fight fair and he also reminded the contestants about latest IKF rules and regulations. Mr Mosadegh wished everyone a Happy Nowrooz (Iranian New Year) and the games were officially started at 9 O’Clock.

Two separate rings were assigned to Kickboxing and Point Kickboxing (Semi-Contact)  matches. The fights were observed by two jury bodies and Asian Referee Committee under direct supervision of Shihan Amir Mosadegh.

The event was covered by local television networks and also by national sports newspapers. The level of the matches was satisfactory and the fighters showed some strong skills and capabilities.

On the final day, the team from Lorestan Province won the most medals in Kickboxing and Tehran Team won the first place in Point Kickboxing (Semi-Contact).

Some of the prominent fighters present in these matches were: Mostafa Mosadegh, national champion and National Kickboxing Team member, Behrooz Mohammadi, Ali Amreinia, Sajjad Ghobadinejad, Hasan Khornagh, Hossein Khornagh, Mohammad Mosadegh, Ali Garshasbi, Ali Aghtai, Mojtaba Ataii, Sajjad Khorrami and many more.

Also present were many VIPs including Azerbaijan Province Governor, Mayor, Police Chief, Province Sports President and others who were seated in the VIP lounge. Their presence added further excitement to the matches.

At the end, the winners were awarded with Gold Medals and cash prize from Shihan Amir Mosadegh and the event ended with a traditional Kurdish dance, which was truly amazing.

These matches will be held from 24th to 27th February 2009, in the city of Bukan in East Azarbaijan province in north west of Iran. Winners will be qualified to attend international matches and fight for higher status.

Contestants fight in 4 age groups: 7-10, 11-14, 15-18 and 18+ ages. Fighters from 32 teams from all over Iran, combat in 40 different weight groups and will follow IKF rules.

Age groups 7-10 and 11-14 will fight semi-contact and age groups 15-18 and 18+ will fight kickboxing styles.

Shihan Amir Mosadegh, IKF Asia representative will be present and will supervise this event.

Also present are IKF referee jury members and IKF Asia Coaches Committee.

IKF Asia: Refree Training Seminar

IKF Kickboxing Asia today held a training seminar for martial arts referees.

The speakers at this seminar were Shihan Amir Mosadegh and Master Hamidreza Hejazi and was taught by Master Bahram Jodari, Iranian Martial Arts Federation Referee Committee. More than 40 referees from around Iran attended this seminar and were educated about the mos recent rules and regulations of IKF Kickboxing.

Farewell Party for Mr Perfect, 4-time World K-1 Champion

img 2890 copy 300x200 Farewell Party for Mr Perfect, 4 time World K 1 ChampionIranian Sports community experienced a huge revolution yesterday, as the biggest and brightest martial arts superstar, Ernesto Hoost, visited Iran.

Mr. Perfect is a 4-time K-1 World Champion. He attended two training sessions for more than 600 male and female fighters and left a sensational memory for everyone here.

On the last night of his stay in Iran, a memorable ceremony was held for Mr. Ernesto Hoost and Master Laurent Daussy, who is one of the prominant Karate Coaches in Neterlands.

That was a very memorable night for the Iranian martial arts family.

Shihan Amir Mosadegh has a final meeting with Mr. Hoost and his programs manager about IKF and kickboxing in Asia and some exchanges were made about future cooperations between IKF Asia and Mr. Hoost’s Organization.

PIMAF welcomes Ernesto Hoost to Iran

img 2666 300x200 PIMAF welcomes Ernesto Hoost to IranIranian Sports community experienced a huge revolution yesterday, as the biggest and brightest martial arts superstar, Ernesto Hoost, visited Iran. He is called “Mister Perfect”, which all martial arts experts agree that it really suits his character.

Mr. Hoost had been invited to Iran by Iranian Martial Arts Federation through Dr. Abedi. He organized the whole stay of Mr Perfect in Iran and did a very fine job with coordinating a smooth ceremony in his honor.

The chairman of Iranian Martial Arts Federation, Mr Mohammad Noohi together with IKF Asia representative and PIMAF president, Shihan Amir Mosadegh, welcomed Grand Master Ernesto Hoost in Tehran and hosted two seminars and a training session for Iranian fans.

PIMAF Presents: Full Contact Karate Championships

This event was sponsored and supported by Queen Kian and Nokian Tyres.  Fighters from 4 age groups gathered here and competed in various weights according to IKF standards.

Among more than 200 fighters from all over Iran, Tehran Team received 4 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze medals and won the first place in this event. Tehran Team was coached by Mostafa Mosadegh and Mohammad Mosadegh.

The prizes were given to winners by Masters Mostafa Mosadegh, Behrooz Mohammad & Sajjad Ghobadinejad who are prominent Iranian champions.

During this event, some promising new faces were introduced to the full contact style of the IKF.

The event was concluded by a special speech made by Shihan Amir Mosadegh to the contestants on growth and promotion of IKF’s missions in Asia and Iran. The speech was warmly greeted by the audience and at the end, he spent some time answering questions on IKF and it’s programs.
